dr iskandar !!!!

well, syukur alhamdulillah. my eldest son is now a certified and qualified doctor!!!. i attended his convocation ceremony and was totally perplexed. it's only the first convocation i have attended, having missed my own convocation more than 30 years ago. how such a sacred ceremony have been commercialised???. for my convocation, i had to walk some miles to borrow a camera so that i could have a photo to show my parents. for my son's convocation, the photo company was swarming all over the amply-sized auditorium and my they were a very proffessional outfit, offering packages of photoshoots to the graduating class and family, and they were raking in the fulus, up to rm390 for a photo package, this inspite of the current digital age. notwithstanding, my son, made it inspite of the various hurdles thrown in his path. he is going to be somebody to reckon with, inshaallah. i am proud of you, kandar.
