nothing much is happening here. it looks that all the doubts about the new pkr state government are justifiable. why?here you are given a mandate by the people to fulfill your wildest dreams and yet you chose to harp on issues which are gathering dust. my personal view is that this inaction adversely reflects the kind of leadership of the pkr in selangor, don't think this khalid guy knows the meaning of hard work, it is all that richness on a silver plate in the form of guthrie that was conferred to him previously. dear tan sri, we elect you and pkr in selangor to make a difference not to go on a witchhunt, we are crying for progressive and sustainable development.

syukur alhamdulillah business is ok. the wife is now in london following a kekwa delegation for the malaysia fest in london. i am happy for her because at last she has achieved her dream of taking part in a fashion show,and in london too mind you. my prayers and hope are that she would be able to cash-in on this and thus would be able to bring lyanne batik up to the next level.inshaallah.

recovering from stroke

why hasn't god miraculously cure him?, what is missing? what do i have to do for allah to grant back my physical ability. it is said in surah yasin that god is all powerful and can do anything:- kun fayakun- and i have read elsewhere that ALLAH is always around you and he knows what lies in the deepest recess of every heart of every being, but why has he not grant my doa/ pleadings what is it that i need to do?i feel that iam almost there- syukur alhamdulillah- and that all i need is that little nudge from god, ya allah ampunilah dosa dosaku.i accept my affliction, it is a punishment for all my excesses, a gentle reminder, and i am so very grateful,god could have just ended it all for me, but no! i now have another chance to lead my life the righteous way, but god please let me have back my physical ability to live normally and more meaningful.

KHALIS - a young chess nut or chestnut

my youngest child, khalis, could yet turn out to be the best, he has abounding confidence , aspires to be a lawyer/judge.lately he has developed a passionate interest in chess and he has been my chess opponent for the last few months. over time i have notice a marked progress in his tactics/strategy, last sunday was defining, for the first time i saw him in competition and straight away i can see what the weakness in him was, he is too impatient, just right after his opponent moves, he was already moving his piece, this eagerness of course leads to mistakes. the question is what sort of training is there out there that can train him to curb his rashness. maybe the answer is to take part in more competition so that the atmosphere of competition becomes second nature to him.nevertheless, sometime soon i shall beat the bejeebees out of him and thrash him in our next game

lyanne batik - business picking up

since feb this year, our business has been picking up speed, alhamdulillah, yesterday was a particularly hectic day, there was a cpnstant stream of clients walking in, phone enquiries, inshaALLAH,hopefully, this trend will remain , today should be another busy day, i am enjoying the constant occupation of my time, it makes the day pass by faster, that has previously been my biggest challenge.there is now a good mix of clients, the public, glc's mnc's, institutions, etc.

several weeks ago i had a whiff of rumuor that there will be a new ketua kampung here, one hj ismail, i have met him at pak rahman's warong a few times, a nice guy who has an event management company, whose house is very near mine. i am confident he will be a great improvement on the previous one. i am all excited as today i have an appointment to see him. i long to have a discussion with him on numerous issues. perhaps he can help us to expand lyanne batik, inshaALLAH.there are many little little things that can be done to improve the economic standing of this kampung, hopefully i can be part of it. thats all for now and it is my intention to regularly report here

recovring from stroke

had my third anniversary on 2nd july 2008, it's been three years since i was afflicted. although there have been signs of recovery, full recovery seems elusive, maybe never, i am slowly accepting this fact, the therapy is to keep myself busy, inshaALLAH, hopefully time will fly by, albeit productively. am now forcing myself to walk/wobble when inside the house. i now berserah kepada ALLAH, in whatever his plans for me are. hikmahnya memang ada, i now pray regularly and hardly miss my regular prayers, next is puasa, hope i can make puasa a habit. maybe one day,ALLAH will look at me and perform his miracle as he surely can

well, it seems both are slugging it out in the msm and cyberspace, i have tried to refrain from commenting on this as i fear about menfitnah either of them. however, yesterday a friend sms and ask me" NAJIB LAWAN ANWAR NI KAU DOK BELAH MANA? my position is that i support neither, both are politicians of whom i don't care much for and my wish and hope is that both will soon get down to the real business. THAT IS SERVING THE PEOPLE , BOLEH TAK?

the news yesterday was that the govt has abandoned this and very conveniently says that it is because gov't servants dont want it. well dear kerajaan, what about the numerous other things that gov't servants don't want like the petrol increase, boleh reject balik tak?
