bigots and mamaks -tanda putera
tanda putera - bigots will say that sabotaging it will destroy local film industry whilst mamaks will ask where is the mamak hero???
buddhists at surrau
it is a great shame that the proprietor of the resort was forced to demolish the surau. the man must be utterly exasperated and just want to end his nightmare. a shame that bigots forced him to act , the surau looks like a decent enough structure. where has common sense, give and take, compromise and resolutions gone to ????. it should have been engineering-wise easy to rehabilitate the surau to conform to whatever requirements required, or perhaps modified for some other use, maybe a madrasah, storeroom or cafe or something useful for the community, perhaps a home for the aged or homeless.
STOP BIGOTRY, STOP BIGOTRY, STOP BIGOTRY

live football
watching chelsea vs man united , i just could not help marvelling at the incredible leap of technology in my lifetime. my first live football was the 1974 world cup final between west germany and holland. this was watched via a very small black and white tv in the wardrobe of my dormmate, abu seyrey, now an ultra successful pilot with MAS. the tv was hidden inside there amongst his clothes to avoid detection by the authorities. Then , my first sight of a colour tv was during the stpoover in teheran on my way to grimsby, england for my A-levels in 1974. now, i just lie comfortably in my room and there it is, live football thousand of miles away right by my bedside, AMAZING.with the advent of Google glass, just maybe, live tv would be just a few cms away from our eyes soon.what did malaysia contribute in this ????, zilch

SSP Walking teraphy - PAIN
after my SSP Walking teraphy this morning, i had intense pain of the rotator cuff at the shoulder and all the muscles connecting to the hips, it is a searing pain just like a toothache. inshaallah, no pain no gain
genting bus crash
more deaths, another tragic event for the people whilst those in power spew the very same noises and those in authority starts to point fingers at others other than themselves and contradicting each other to cover their asses. ahhhh, same malaysia as ever, at least this is still predictable.
meanwhile i am still awaiting the first utterance from malay bigots, what could it be???. maybe "serves them right for going to gamble "or maybe "the government should have special al-bus for genting trips"

NEP
the NEP, it is my considered view that the NEP was the event that transform malaysia, the dividing event between the malaysia of my youth and the malaysia that we have today, the rise of malay nationalism and islamic conservatism in malaysia that have brought so much bigotry prevalent in malaysian society today fuelled by malaysian malay socalled leaders in their various guises for their own end

SSP Walking teraphy
a lot of pain in my back left sided muscles today which i hope will translate into some sort of recovery of my affected left arm in the near future, inshaallah.
malays, chinese , indians
spent the early hours of today after my prayers trying to reminisce as to when was it in my life that the differences between malays, indians and chinese were a factor in my life, matters to me, bothers me and when bigotry among the malays starts to surface. i could not reach any definite answer attributed to the fact that most likely the differences does not matter to me, i had led my life bliss in the assumption that we are all the same and never once has it made any difference to me, except latterly now for MAMAKS. which is another story all together.
it was not until i was in secondary school(aged 13 onwards) in kota tinggi, johor that i first encountered the other races, 2 chinese boys, soh joo han and a geek whose name ended with tai or something, a sweet chinese girl of whom i had a crush on for a short while and 2 indian boys, one of whom was the headmasters son. race was never an issue between us, we were happily growing up in almost perfect harmony, each competent in something and cooperating whenever necessary, those were the days, no bigots, no dakwahs and ALL girls go to school in cute tight dresses without any headscarf.
but , no mamaks that i know of, in my early years

buddhists at surau
in this episode, my initial reaction was "here goes the malay bigots again" however , upon viewing the video i am now more inclined to jail all the singaporeans buddhists who were insensitive to the quirks of others., they should be jailed. it is a wonder that thepakciks and makciks in sedili did not go berserk, it is not the fact that they used the surau but the fact that they brought in the buddhas idol which was prominently placed at the altar. however bigotry still surface from the socalled islamic advisor who threaten to demnolish the surau. hello brother, we look at you to bring leadership not bigotry, leadership as provided by malaysias chief buddhist who proferred apologies. tq bro.you are a true leader

malay bigots
how can you identify a malay bigot????. typically, they are unwilling to discuss or debate any points, blissfully entrenched in their bigoted viewpoints. secondly when it appears that they are flustered or cornered they will revert to what the malays called " merajuk", the english equivalent of sulking, but far worse as they would tend to stomp off with their mouth snouted like a pig.then, they will start to throw accusations at you of being unislamic and unpatriotic and love of other races, syirik, etc. that is a malay bigot in a nutshell. so when encountering them, just ignore them, soon they will give up , no stomach for sparring

EID
while most of the rest of the islamic world already knows when EID is, we in malaysia are still relying on looking at the moon to determine when EID should be. well, what can i say, only perhaps that in this one example, where malaysia is in every sense of the word
